As a premier bank in Cambodia today, Cambodian Public Bank was selected as the only bank and sponsor to sponsor the 2nd Cambodian Rice Festival which was held at the Sofitel Phokeetra Hotel, Phnom Penh on 18 November 2014.

The Cambodian Rice Festival was officiated by the H.E. Thong Khon, the Minister of Tourism whilst the closing ceremony was graced by H.E. Sun Chanthol, the Minister of Commerce, H.E. Jean-Francois Cautain, the Ambassador of The European Union, H.E. Dr. Ouk Rabun, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery and Mr. Alain Fortin, the First Counselor of French Embassy.

The highlight of the festival was the annual World Rice Competition which was participated by 43 countries from all over the world. Cambodia was once again adjudged the winner of "World Best Jasmine Rice" for the second consecutive year. The festival attracted more than 100 Cambodian rice exporters, millers and farmers' cooperatives from throughout the country.

Besides promoting our PB branding, the Bank also took the opportunity to cross sell the bank's products and services to the exhibitors and visitors.
