Overview

1. What is a CPB SecureSign Soft Token?

CPB SecureSign is a digital security token integrated into Cambodian Public Bank’s (CAMPU) mobile banking app (i.e. PB engage KH). It allows you to authenticate  banking transactions easily and safely via biometric (i.e. fingerprint / Touch ID / Face ID) recognition or 6-digit SecurePIN.

2. What are the benefits of the CPB SecureSign?

By binding your device and Internet Banking User ID, CPB SecureSign allows you to seamlessly authenticate banking transactions as well as provides enhanced security to ensure that you can bank with peace of mind.

3. Who can activate / apply for a CPB SecureSign?

Anyone can activate / apply for CPB SecureSign. As long as you have applied and registered for CAMPU Internet Banking access, you can activate CPB SecureSign into your CAMPU mobile banking app (i.e. PB engage KH).

4. What is SecurePIN?

SecurePIN is a 6-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) created by you during CPB SecureSign activation. SecurePIN will be used to authorise banking transactions and must always be kept secret and never be disclosed to anyone.

Registration and Activation

1. How do I activate CPB SecureSign?

Just login to your CAMPU mobile banking app (i.e. PB engage KH app) and you will be prompted to activate CPB SecureSign automatically.

2. Can I skip the CPB SecureSign activation?

By binding your device and Internet Banking User ID, CPB SecureSign allows you to seamlessly authenticate banking transactions as well as provides enhanced security to ensure that you can bank with peace of mind.

3. Can I activate CPB SecureSign on two mobile devices?

No, CPB SecureSign can only be activated on one (1) registered device at any one (1) time.

4. What are the steps to register for CPB SecureSign?
  1. Login to the app on the new device by inputting your Internet Banking User ID and Password.
  2. You will be prompted with, “Choosing to proceed to login to this device will remove your access to this app from your previous device.” Click on Yes.
  3. Proceed and complete the remaining steps.
5. How do I switch CPB SecureSign to another device on PB engage KH App?
  1. Install and login to the app on the new device by inputting your Internet Banking User ID and Password.
  2. You will be prompted with, “Choosing to proceed to login to this device will remove your access to this app from your previous device.” Click on Yes.
  3. Proceed and complete the remaining steps.
  4. You have now successfully switched your CPB SecureSign to another device on PB engage KH App.

 

Transaction Authorisation

1. How does CPB SecureSign work?

CPB SecureSign will be the default transaction authorisation method for your CPB SecureSign activated device. Upon confirmation of the transaction that you wish to make, you will be prompted to authenticate directly by using your biometric (if enrolled) or SecurePIN. Alternatively, you can use SecureSign Token to authenticate the transaction.

The following transaction authorisation methods can be used to verify transactions made on Internet Banking or for other registered devices (PB engage KH app only):

  • CPB SecureSign - Push Notification
  • CPB SecureSign – SecurePAC
2. What is a CPB SecureSign (Push Notification)?

CPB SecureSign (Push Notification) is an authentication method available when you perform a transaction using Internet Banking or other registered device (PB engage KH app only). A push notification will be sent to your CPB SecureSign activated device for approval.

Simply tap on the Push Notification or launch the PB engage KH to retrieve the pending transaction. Please verify the transaction details before approving the transaction.

3. What is a CPB SecureSign (SecurePAC)?

CPB SecureSign (SecurePAC) is a 6-digit One Time Password (OTP) generated by CPB SecureSign. This authentication method will be made available when you perform a transaction using Internet Banking or other registered device (PB engage KH only) of a higher limit. Follow the instructions below by using your CPB SecureSign activated device to generate a SecurePAC:

  • Launch PB engage KH app
  • From the side menu, tap on “CPB SecureSign” to retrieve the pending transaction
  • Verify the transaction details before you proceed
  • Enter your SecurePIN or authenticate with your enrolled fingerprint / Touch ID / Face ID
  • The 6-digit SecurePAC will be displayed on the screen
  • Input the SecurePAC at the transaction initiation platform to approve the transaction
4. What is a SecurePAC?

SecurePAC is a 6-digit One Time Password (OTP) generated by CPB SecureSign. It is used to approve transactions above USD2,500.

5. Can I use the same SecurePAC for multiple transactions?

No, every SecurePAC is unique and can be used to approve the designated transaction only.

6. Will CPB SecureSign (Push Notification) and SecurePAC expire?

Yes, the CPB SecureSign (Push Notification) and SecurePAC will only be valid for 2 minutes (120 seconds).

7. What if I accidentally dismissed the Push Notification for pending transaction?

You can launch your CPB engage KH mobile app to retrieve the transactions that are pending approval.

8. Can I use CPB SecureSign when I am overseas?

Yes, you can use CPB SecureSign while you are abroad as long as your mobile device is connected to the internet.

9. I did not receive any Push Notification on my device to approve my transaction.

You may have turned off the notification on your device. Follow the instructions below to turn on Push Notification for PB engage KH app on your device:

For iOS Users:

  • Go to “Settings”
  • Search for “PB engage” app
  • Select “Notifications”
  • Turn on the “Allow Notification”

For Android Users:

  • Go to “Settings”
  • Search for “Apps” or “Apps & Notification”
  • Look for “PB engage” app
  • Select “Notifications”
  • Turn on the “Allow notifications” or “Show notifications”
10. What should I do if I receive a Push Notification for a transaction that I do not recognize or did not perform?

Reject the transaction immediately and go to your PB engage KH Settings > Device Management to remove any unknown device(s).

1. What if I have forgotten my SecurePIN / SecurePIN is locked?

You can reset your SecurePIN carrying out the following steps:

  • Login to PB engage KH app
  • Go to "Settings"
  • Tap on “Change PIN” to reset your SecurePIN
