Blood Donation Campaign by Cambodian Public Bank  

In conjunction with Cambodian Public Bank Plc’s (“Campu Bank”) 33^rd anniversary and the International Women’s Day celebration, Campu Bank in collaboration with the National Blood Transfusion Centre Cambodia (NBTC) had organized a blood donation campaign under the theme “Empowering with a Gift of Life” at Campu Bank Building (Head Office) in Khan Doun Penh, Phnom Penh on 3 March 2025.

This blood donation campaign is organised as part of the Bank’s corporate social and responsibility initiative for this year and is officiated by Dr. Meuk Samean, Deputy Director of the National Blood Transfusion Centre and graced by H.E. ­­­­­­­­ Shaharuddin Onn, Malaysian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia and participated by more than 100 Campu Bank staff, customers, and partners.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Ong Ming Teck, Chief Executive Officer, said that this campaign focuses on patients requiring life-long transfusion support and demonstrates the role every single donate can play, by giving the invaluable gift of blood or plasma. He also highlighted the importance of donating blood regularly to maintain a safe and sustainable stock of supply as every single donation is a precious lifesaving gift for three lives. 

The Bank would continue to play an active role to organise as well as participate in various charitable initiatives and community projects by both the public and private sectors to reach out to those in need in Cambodia, he added.
